LCSW-S, EMDR Therapist, LENS PRACTITIONER, Specializes in Pre-Teen, Adolescents, and Adults

101 Southwestern Boulevard Sugar Land, Texas 77478

Maddie is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who earned her Master of Social Work with a specialization in Behavioral Health from the University of Houston in May 2020. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in Public Health with a minor in Sociology.

Maddie has experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families who have faced a wide range of traumatic experiences. Her background spans multiple settings, including public schools, behavioral health hospitals, and the juvenile probation system, giving her a well-rounded understanding of how environment, systems, and relationships impact mental and emotional well-being.

At the core of Maddie’s work is a belief in healing the brain through genuine connection and meaningful relationships. She looks beyond interpersonal challenges alone, thoughtfully considering each client’s environment when forming clinical impressions. Rather than viewing nature and nurture as opposing forces, Maddie integrates both to fully understand her clients’ experiences and the pathways that have led them to seek change.

While Maddie is open to working with all populations, much of her clinical experience is focused on young adolescents with behavioral challenges. When working with children, she intentionally involves the entire family, recognizing that lasting healing occurs when everyone plays an active role in the process.

Maddie strives to make therapy engaging and approachable, creating a safe, supportive, and social environment where meaningful change can happen. She believes that when clients feel secure, understood, and connected, growth follows naturally.
