Jocelyn Sirias, M.S., LPC-Associate
Supervised by Teresa Brown, M.Ed., LPC-S, NCC, RPT
Jocelyn is an LPC-Associate at Attachment and Trauma Center of Houston
and received her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from
The University of Houston-Victoria. She is passionate about supporting
children, adolescents, and families navigating trauma, anxiety, emotional
regulation, self-esteem, behavioral concerns, and life transitions. Jocelyn uses
a person-centered, trauma-informed approach that meets each person where
they are and considers their unique needs and experiences. She incorporates
play therapy and creative approaches to help children feel safe expressing
themselves, process difficult experiences, develop healthy coping skills, and
build resilience. She also values collaboration with parents and caregivers,
recognizing that supporting the child often means supporting the family as a
whole.
Jocelyn brings several years of experience working with children and families.
She spent three years at an ABA clinic supporting children ages 2-12 with
autism spectrum disorder, focusing on communication, socialization,
emotional regulation, and independence. She later worked as a
Spanish-speaking case manager, connecting children and families with skills
training and community resources. These experiences strengthened her
passion for culturally responsive care and supporting underserved and
Spanish-speaking families.
Jocelyn is committed to continued professional growth in trauma-informed
care. She has completed Psychological First Aid (PFA) and Trauma Training
for Early Childhood (TTEC) through the National Child Traumatic Stress
Network and continues to expand her knowledge and skills in
trauma-informed practices.
Outside of the therapy room, Jocelyn enjoys singing, acting, and dancing. She
has always valued the arts as a meaningful form of creativity and
self-expression and loves how they allow her to connect with her inner child.
