Lina Jadoon

Lina Jadoon is a final-year graduate counseling trainee at the University of St. Thomas in Houston, pursuing a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Texas at Dallas before relocating to Houston. With roots in South Asia and fluency in English, Urdu, and Punjabi, Lina offers a culturally informed perspective shaped by her experiences living and studying in the UK, Pakistan, the Netherlands, and the U.S.
Lina takes an integrative approach to therapy, drawing from person-centered and cognitive-behavioral frameworks. She has a particular interest in supporting individuals of all ages navigating neurodivergent conditions, PTSD, anxiety, life transitions, personality disorders, and multicultural concerns.
Guided by compassion and empathy, Lina strives to create a safe, inclusive environment where clients feel seen and heard. She values collaboration, feedback, and the professional growth that comes through supervision. In the long term, she hopes to serve diverse, underserved populations in community mental health.
Outside of counseling, Lina enjoys spending time with loved ones, being outdoors, reading for leisure, and unwinding with a good comedy show.
